Ben Kennedy is English and spent almost two decades as an inspector in the Royal Hong Kong Police, both before and after the Handover in 1997, when the Force reverted to its original title of the Hong Kong Police.
Since returning to the UK, Ben has moved away from police work but has maintained close ties with Asia and visits Hong Kong regularly.
The fifth Sam Steadings novel is in preparation and will be published on Amazon in 2024
